What if God's calling you right now, not despite your rough edges, but because of them? 🙏💙

This week Pastor Mike reveals how Jesus found Peter—not in a temple or on a spiritual retreat, but cleaning nets after a frustrating night of fishing. Just an ordinary fisherman with obvious flaws, yet Jesus saw a rock inside those rough edges and declared, "You shall be called Peter." This isn't about being qualified; it's about surrender. Jesus specializes in using inadequate people because when extraordinary things happen through ordinary lives, everyone knows God did it. Ready to discover what Jesus sees in you? Don't miss this transformative message—dive in now!

P.S. Huge congrats again to our four high school graduates—Lily, Kerry, Josh, and Chloe! We're so proud of you! 🎓✨

🌴 PALM SUNDAY REFLECTION 🌴

This Sunday we explored a powerful question: What if the thing you're disappointed in is actually the thing you need most?

The crowd expected a conquering king on a war horse. Jesus showed up on a donkey. 🫏

They wanted external change. He offered internal transformation.

They shouted "Hosanna!" on Sunday... but by Friday, they were crying "Crucify him!"

Why? Unmet expectations.

Here's the truth Pastor Mike shared: "Jesus didn't come to fix your life. He came to save your soul."

Sometimes we want Jesus to rearrange our circumstances when what we really need is for Him to redeem our hearts. 💔➡️❤️

🌟 Joseph - When Fear Meets Grace 🌟

Hello, Joy Church family!

🙏 What are you holding onto so tightly that you need to release to God? 🙏

This Sunday, Pastor Kathy reminded us of something powerful: "When we're holding onto things so tightly to stay in control, we can't receive what God wants to give us." Joseph's brothers walked into Egypt expecting judgment... but they received grace instead. 💙 Just like them, we often carry guilt, fear, or past mistakes—thinking we're disqualified from God's goodness.

But here's the truth: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us. (Romans 5:8)

🎄✨ Joy to the World – Peace for Your Anxious Mind ✨🎄

Shalom, Shalom! This Sunday, we explore the profound promise of peace that Jesus offers us, especially during the Christmas season. In a world filled with anxiety and uncertainty, how do we truly experience the "shalom, shalom" – the perfect peace that surpasses all understanding?

🌟 Freedom in Christ: What Does It Mean to You? 🌟

Hey Joy Church family and friends! 🙌 Today’s sermon was a powerful reminder of the true freedom we have in Christ. As we approach the 4th of July, we celebrate not just our national freedom, but the spiritual freedom that Jesus offers us every day. 🇺🇸✝️

Pastor Mike shared how true freedom isn't about doing whatever we want, but about surrendering to Jesus and living the abundant life He has for us. It's about being free from guilt, shame, and fear, and being free for peace, joy, and purpose.
