The Bible teaches us a baseline standard for giving — it's called 'the tithe.' When we give the first 10% of our increase to the Lord, we are putting Him first in our lives. Tithing is an act of worship that expresses our gratitude towards God, our faith in Him, a heart surrendered to Him, and our love for others.

The Bible gives us permission to test God in only one area – tithing. And His promise for those who do it is blessing! Giving is an act of worship and obedience from a heart surrendered to Jesus ... a choice we make to follow God's instruction for us. The church doesn't need anything from you.

We want something for you! God certainly doesn't need anything from us, it's all His anyway. We give out of our need to act on our faith and out of obedience to God's word.
