WHY WE EXIST
"To impact our communities with the Father's love and raise up a body of believers committed in relationship with Jesus Christ and with one another."
OUR VALUES

JOY
We value Joy
Joy in serving, Joy in celebrating, Joy in reaching out
We are Joyful
"The joy of the Lord is my strength" from Nehemiah 8:10

EVERYONE MATTERS
We value Everyone
We know that God values Everyone
Everyone matters here – all the time

INTEGRITY
We value Integrity
God calls us to a life of Integrity
Jesus tells us to let our ‘yes’ be ‘yes’ and our ‘no’ be ‘no’
We work hard, do our best, and make mistakes
We don’t need to hide our faults, we are all sinners in need of God’s grace every day of our lives
We live with Integrity

GENEROSITY
We value generosity. We can’t outgive God, but let’s try!
God is so generous to us. God’s generosity can be seen all around us. He’s generous to give us life, to give us a beautiful place to live and work, and to give us a community to share our lives with. He even generously provides for our eternity.
John 3:16 tells us about God’s greatest act of generosity; because of His love for us, He gave us His only son to provide eternal life for us. The result of God’s generosity toward us is our desire to be generous to others to see a need, and do our best to generously meet a need.
WHAT WE BELIEVE
This is how we view God, Jesus, the Bible, man, and many significant aspects of our faith.
Firmly rooted in Scripture, our beliefs guide our decisions as a church.
We believe in the Trinity of God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit.
The three parts of the Trinity are coexistent and coeternal, meaning that they always have existed and will always exist together. They are coequal in divine perfection, meaning that no person of the Trinity is more powerful or more perfect than any other person in the Trinity.
We believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God.
He is co-equal with the Father. Jesus lived a sinless human life and offered Himself as the perfect sacrifice for the sins of all men by dying on a cross. He rose from the dead after three days to demonstrate His power over sin and death. He ascended to Heaven and will return again to reign as King of Kings and Lord of Lords. We are believers in the second coming of Christ; no one knows the exact time He will come, but believers will continue to spread the Gospel until the day He comes. When Christ descends from Heaven, all believers will be taken up to meet Him in the air.
We believe that the baptism with the Holy Spirit is an experience that follows salvation.
All believers have God’s Spirit within them. Holy Spirit baptism empowers believers to exalt Jesus, to live lives of holiness, and to be witnesses of God’s saving grace. We believe that those who experience Holy Spirit baptism today will experience it in the same manner that believers experienced it in the early church; in other words, we believe that they can speak in tongues—languages that are not known to them.
We believe that the Bible is God's Word to all men. It was written by human authors under the supernatural guidance of the Holy Spirit. It is the ultimate source of truth for Christian beliefs and living. We believe that the Bible is absolutely true, enduring, and unchangeable.
We believe that you were created to exist forever. We believe that forever is spent in one of two places: eternally separated from God because of sin or in union with God because of His forgiveness and salvation. We believe that everyone will stand before the judgment seat of Christ when they die. We believe that Heaven is the habitation of the living God and the eternal home of born-again believers (John 14:2; Revelation 7:15-17). We believe that hell is a place of darkness, deep sorrow and unquenchable fire, which was not prepared for man but for the devil and his angels; it will become the place of eternal separation from God for all who reject Christ as Savior.
We believe that Adam and Eve, the precursors of the entire human race, were created in the image of God. God designed man to have fellowship with Him, however, they disobeyed God and became sinners. We are all born with a sinful nature and choose to sin against God. We are incapable of regaining a right relationship with God through our own efforts. Through Adam, all people inherited sin’s nature and consequences, and all are in need of a Redeemer
OUR HISTORY
SMALL BEGINNINGS
In the fall of 2015, Grace Capital Church, a multi-site church, planted a campus in Pittsfield, NH. Pastors, Mike and Kathy Mavity were sent out to be campus pastors and the Pittsfield Campus of Grace Capital Church met for the first time on Saturday September 19, 2015. The first meetings were on Saturday nights because the campus was using the facilities of the Pittsfield First Congregational Church.
In December 2015, the campus met in it's current facility at 55 Barnstead Road in the Atlantic Safety Products building. Many volunteers have worked hard to build the santuary, kids rooms and common areas of the building.
On September 1, 2017, Joy Church was released from Grace Capital Church and became an independent Foursquare Church.

As a denomination, The Foursquare Church has a unique history that stems from missions and evangelism. It began as a powerful evangelistic movement and spread throughout the nations to become the global family it is today.
Foursquare began in 1923, when our founder, Aimee Semple McPherson, opened the first Foursquare church in Los Angeles. Today, Foursquare has over 8.8 million members in over 90,000 churches across 146 nations.
With a desire for global missions and evangelism, and motivated by the Great Commission to make disciples around the world, Foursquare empowers every believer to expand God's kingdom. To achieve continual, Christ-centered growth, Foursquare partners with churches around the world through leadership development, church multiplication, and church health strategies.
As a movement, Foursquare recognizes that things change: society, culture, and contexts. Foursquare is committed to be in continual motion and relationship ministry, ready to go wherever God is leading. While Foursquare has a flexible and adaptable approach of ministry, the message is sacred. "Jesus is the same yesterday, today, and forever." His gospel never changes; it's goodness never diminishes. We may go to many places. We may not all look the same. But our message stays true to God's word.
